Patrick Lagreid is the public address announcer for several teams in the Phoenix area: during spring training, he announces Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks games at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. During the summer, he announces the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, then the Arizona Fall League’s Salt River Rafters and the Valley Suns, the G-League affiliate of the Phoenix Suns. He is also the primary backup PA announcer for the Phoenix Suns and a backup for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Among his career highlights, he was the Public Address Announcer for the 2024 AT&T WNBA All-Star Weekend, including the AT&T WNBA All-Star Game, the Kia WNBA Skills Challenge, and the WNBA STARRY 3-Point Contest. He announced two games during the 2021 WNBA Finals, two Indoor Football League United Bowls during his time with the Arizona Rattlers, and multiple Arizona Fall League jewel events.

He has also announced numerous events throughout the Phoenix area, including the 2024 Arizona Tip-Off basketball tournament, the Basketball Hall of Fame College Series, the Pac-12 baseball tournament, the Native American Basketball Invitational (NABI) National Basketball Championships, and the national championships of several adult baseball leagues.

He was previously the primary PA announcer for Goodyear Ballpark, the spring training home of the Cleveland Guardians and Cincinnati Reds; the University of San Francisco; and O’Dea High School in Seattle, Wash.
